About Me
Group leader in Fish Genomics at Eawag, Kastanienbaum.
Research Interests
My research focus evolves around my interest in understanding the diversity of life. I study evolutionary processes and factors creating variation and eventually leading to the differentiation between organisms (in my case very often fish). Lately, most of my research centres on variation at the genomic level. I combine population genomics and comparative genomic approaches describing genomic patterns to ultimately understand how evolutionary processes shape genome evolution.
